Visual Studio Tip / Trick #032 English Transcription:

Today’s Visual Studio Trick of the day is trick no. 32, originally blogged by Sara Ford on September 7th 2007. Today’s trick is selecting the current word. So [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+[W] will select whatever word your cursor is currently on. And if your cursor is in the middle of some white space, [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+[W] will select that as well. Also confirms that this also works in Visual Studio 2005 as well. [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+[W]
