#58 How to increase the statement completion font size

Go to Tools - Options - Fonts and Colors. This is where you're used to changing the font size, especially those of us that present with Visual Studio on a projector. When you change the editor font size to 20 for the audience to be able to read it, only the editor changes. This video will show you how to increase the font size on the Intellisence window that pops up for statement complete.

Visual Studio Tip / Trick #058 English Transcription:

Today’s Visual Studio Trick #58 is a video repost of an original blog post by Sara Ford with her tip 58. The tip deals with font sizing. So if you ever have to present Visual Studio on a projector, font size 8 is a little bit too small. We are not necessarily talking about the font size we can see on the screen but the font size that is displayed in the completion textbox which is obviously as you can see a different font size. So if under the Tools menu you go to Options and then Fonts and Colors, on the Text Editor, Plain Text, this is where people typically try to increase their font size and they are successful with the actual text that is in the text editor. But if you go back to Tools -> Options, we can change, still in the Fonts and Colors, we can change the settings for Text Editor down to Statement Completion and then this is the font size that is used in your statement completion box and you can also change the fonts or something else is you want it to be a little bit fancy. So lets just change ours to Terminal 15 and then we’ll do this [DOT] and you’ll see you have total control over the Font Size and Font Family for the completion font. We’ll see you on the next video trick.
