#61 Presenters Must Read .. Increase the Editor Tooltip Font Size

If you’re presenting Visual Studio on a projector, one of the first things you probably do is downsize to 1024X768, and edit your font size to be larger so the people in the back can read your screen. BUT … most presenters forget to also change the Tooltip font size. Did you know that could be done? This video shows you how.

Visual Studio Tip / Trick #061 English Transcription:

Today's Visual studio trick of the day, trick No. 61 was in original blog post by Sara Ford. It’s increasing the editor tool tip font size. Now lot of presenters will remember to increase the font size of the editor, but if you ever been in the a audience of a large auditorium watching a presenter and the tool tip comes up you will notice that; that text is still very small. So sender as object is particularly what we looking for, so if we go to Tools and Options and then jump in to the Fonts and Font Colors you will se a drop down box of option which defaults it text editor. But if you change that to the editor tooltip you can then increase the font size. Just be dramatic we’ll change that upto 20 and now if I hover over the sender, you'll see that it’s a very large easy to read font for people in your audience.
