For me, being a self taught programmer, I find myself in that place between doing and learning. Once you go to work for "the man", there is little time left for 'there's gotta be a better way'. Too many programmers I have known could be so much better if they would just take time to ferret out the knowledge nuggets - put aside those video games dudes! lol
