#1 Windows 7 – Custom Thumbnail Sizes
Sunday, December 06 2009
I was just looking at some Christmas photos in a folder, and wanted to change the thumbnail sizes. There are several baked in options for the Windows 7 Explorer to see thumbnails at certain sizes. With my monitor resolution, the large were too small, and the extra large was too large. Then, it hit me. Right in front of me, was a selection to change the custom thumbnail sizes. I’d never seen this before. Who knows, maybe it was there with Vista and XP. But, it’s new to me, and I thought, maybe there is someone else out there who hasn’t seen if before either. Enjoy the quick video demo.

I just found a cool feature in windows 7 and thought I do a quick video post about it.
It's kinda one of those things that’s obvious but I overlooked it for a long time, so I figured other people might be as well.
Just looking through some quick Christmas photos that were recently taken and using this drop down list to select the size of the photos right. So you have medium; which is pretty small then extra large which is really large and then large which is (I don’t know) kind of too small for me to be called large; but any way. The thing that I found was this slider which lets you pick. So its like the menus on the right are quick pick and then the slider is here that lets you kind of get your photos to just exactly the right size so. I don’t know thought that was kind of cool and that I do a quick video post on it. So hope you having a great day, Happy Holidays!
